Although originally born in Dallas, Texas, Lillian is considered a "third-culture kid" having lived across the globe in locations such as: Lima, Peru; San Juan, Puerto Rico; Nassau, The Bahamas, and El Paso, Texas. Through her international upbringing, Lillian not only developed a strong passion for education and International Affairs, but also attained a value system based on selfless service and compassion.
Attaining biliteracy in Spanish and English, alongside having working knowledge in French and American Sign Language, inspires Lillian to bridge communication and accessibility gaps between communities. Through both her actions and writing, Lillian continues to be a strong advocate for equitable opportunity and free education, with long-term goals including working with the United Nations, NGO's and the public sector to provide resources to underdeveloped nations. Lillian is currently studying International Affairs through The Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University, College Station. She previously graduated with honors from Lyford Cay International School: a college preparatory school in Nassau, The Bahamas, where she received accreditation through the International Bachelorette Diploma Program. |
